Shenzhen, China – A factory which was producing cloned products of SMOK was shutted by the local authority last week. The factory, situated in Sarjing province of Shenzhen was raid and shut down. Shenzhen IVSP Technology Co Ltd, the company behind the brand SMOK had been suspecting the products were cloned. They had actually issued out a Letter of Counsel to all their business partners to stop buying cloned products, which were sold at lower price. The reason it was cheaper was the lower quality of the material used to manufactured the cloned products.
The factory which was producing the cloned products were raided at night after being tip off some local competitors. As China is stepping up onto the copyright infringement regulation, action was taken to raid the said factory. A handful of factory employees and management was arrested and brought back to the police station for investigation. They will be charged accordingly.
As of now, there were a lot of cloned SMOK MICO devices being produced by this company and had been circulating in the South East Asia market.
